TOM SCIACCA

TOM SCIACCA is originally from The Bronx and went to high school with George Perez. He started working a Marvel in 1974, writing and assisting Vince Coletta and Rich Buckler. He helped Stan Lee run Marvel Con in 1976, where he appeared on WOR-TV9 as Spider-Man. He has also worked at DC, and assisted on SUPERMAN VS. MUHAMMAD ALI.

Tom was the Publisher of ASTRAL COMICS, one of the first Indie comics, in 1977. He also published Galaxia Magazine, Heroic Fantasy, Starblazer, wrote for Variety and Heavy Metal, wrote the award-winning film Just Like Joe.

He is currently working on a few new projects Disco and Amber Dawn, as well as a revival of Astral Comics.
